Welcome to episode 1 of Library Failure Confessions from the League of Awesome Librarians. Our confessor in our debut episode is: Annette M Vadnais (she/her). She is the Student Success and Outreach Librarian at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst which serves 22,000 undergraduates. In this role, she promotes the libraries’ services and resources to the undergraduate population, focusing on first-year students, first-generation students, and transfer students. In her attempt to be approachable she is also known as the Purple Haired Librarian at UMass, Amherst. She even has an alias e-mail of [email protected].
