Imagine you are Ella Fitzallen.   Imagine you’re working for minimum wage, that you’ve failed at school, and have lost everyone you love.  Imagine that it’s Christmas eve, a terrifying woman in a smart suit is stalking the streets of London, stealing souls, and you’re the next person on her Christmas list.  Imagine you meet a man who’s over 2000 years old, and has a box that’s bigger on the inside.   When you’re only just hanging on to your place in the world, what could that man and that box do for you?
