In this first episode, Jane is joined by Dame Clare Marx, the first woman to chair the British Orthopaedic Association, the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the General Medical Council. In this particularly poignant episode, Jane and Clare discuss Clare's career, from what it was like to be one of only a few women working in surgery and chart a successful path though that field, to leadership styles and the most important things doctors can do for their patients.
