One of my goals in this project is to introduce listeners to the radical, political and subversive roots of popular hip-hop. Naturally, this will contain language and beliefs that may offend listeners, and in some instances myself included. I contemplated scratching some of the language out but ultimately decided to keep it. As this is only the first episode I'm open to make some changes, however. Dig in!
