In this first episode you learn what prompted Michele to write her memoir about love. She describes what love means to her and what forms it has taken during her rather unusual life. She starts the tale by describing her high school romance with Bobby, and how he pressures her to be more sexual than she is comfortable being. You learn a lot about Michele’s family and the consequential relationship with her complicated father. The segment ends with playful capers with other guys and gals in her teenage sphere.  In the Q & A section, the co-host Sally presses Michele to go more fully into how this period affected the rest of her life.  Sally also points out how at even this early age, Michele was already displaying her tendency to be an endless romantic.
