With rising sea levels, heatwaves, floods and droughts, California is suffering from all the  impacts of climate change. Although these negative impacts are quickly affecting the state, there is still time to take necessary action to prevent and lessen the chances of more catastrophes.  
Throughout our audio discussion, we plan to discuss climate change and the negative effects it has on our state then take a deep dive into heat waves and what we as Californians can do to make a difference.
We expect to learn more about climate change and focus on how heatwaves are affecting California’s environment. From learning about this impact, we intend to specifically explore how Californians can reduce their carbon footprint by increasing energy efficiency.
