Craig talks about his plans for this new podcast moving forward, then discusses how he got to this point and the reasons his two-year absence from Substack and podcasting in general. He goes into detail about his decades dealing with bipolar disorder and trying to make a name and career for himself in various creative fields, particularly the last few years spent dealing with a breakup, a crippling case of covid, and a few deaths in the family, including the one-two punch of losing both his dog and father at the end of last summer. The seemingly heavy subject matter is still delivered with a good deal of humor and a bit of self-awareness, ending with Craig discussing his conscious decision to both go on living and to reorganize, refocus, and restart his career, beginning with this show.
