For the first movie crossed off the list, DAGL & Xandra had the honor/dishonor of watching Cannibal Holocaust (1980): "During a rescue mission into the Amazon rainforest, a professor stumbles across lost film shot by a missing documentary crew". And oh boy, was this a nasty one to start off on.
