Hey guys, we’re Jovi and Joyanna, and we are so excited to share with you our very first episode of Weekly Revelations!

Get to know us a little bit better, and dive into what it means to pursue Godly friendships—friends who reflect Jesus, walk by the Spirit, and hold you accountable in love. We ask honest questions about what to look for in a person, how to find Spirit-led friends, and how to maintain Biblical friendships—remember, they go both ways. Don’t chase what isn’t reciprocated, but don’t check out too soon either!

Rooted in Ephesians 5:1, Galatians 5:16–22, Proverbs 27:6, Proverbs 13:20, and 1 Corinthians 15:33, we’re reminded of the importance of walking with the wise—and that as imitators of God, we’re called to walk with others who reflect Him too. We also talk about why unequally yoked friendships can be dangerous for us.
