On our very first episode, we examine the road trip that was Nathan Welton's hockey career. In this first half of the two-part episode, we talk about Nathan's minor hockey days in Cole Harbour, his move to Dartmouth for Major Midget, and a close call in the Major Midget National Championships. We explore his difficult decision to walk away from a full scholarship at Notre Dame of the NCAA in favour of the Quebec Remparts, a chance meeting with Dave Poulin years later, and his stellar rookie season in the QMJHL.
