Welcome to the first episode of "Listen Here Newbie", a podcast about our favorite storyteller, John C. McGinley. This bi-monthly podcast will feature an episode with Johnny C. once a month and then a surprise special guest for the second one. We will hear from the man himself about stories from behind the scenes, current and future projects, the latest news and a few more surprises.

Your host is Richard Tieman who will guide us through this journey of Johnny C's persepctive.

In this episode we welcome in 2023 with a fresh outlook. John talks about his life in the past year coming out of the pandemic. Going forward, they talk about New Year's Resolutions and how it impacts the rest of the year.

Since it is the first episode we talk about the "Rule of One" and what would be his advice for persuing a career as a storyteller.

Finally John tells a few stories about his first experiences on television as the character "Ned" in the popular long running soap opera "Another World" and his first movie with the award winning actor Alan Alda in the movie "Sweet Liberty".
