Welcome to another episode of the Diversify in Path Podcast.  I have the opportunity to interview Dr. Nicole Jackson who is an Assistant Medical Examiner in Chicago and is board-certified in anatomic, clinical, and forensic pathology.  She is a fellow in multiple organizations and is a founder and current board member of the newly formed Society of Black Pathologists. We discuss her switch from surgery into pathology, her views on mentorship, her experiences as a new forensic pathologist during the beginning of the pandemic  and finally her views in how we can diversify the field of pathology.
