In the very first episode of Hauntings and Hobnobs, Katie Trinder and Barrie John head to one of the UK’s most legendary locations: Nottingham Castle. With centuries of history, power, betrayal and bloodshed built into its walls, it’s hardly the sort of place you’d expect to be empty after dark.

Together over a cuppa and a biscuit, they explore its history and try and work out what or rather who walks the corridors of the castle, originally built in 1068.
