What I have recently found out about this gift of peace has changed my life! I spent a long time thinking people were taking my peace away. I blamed the text messages, the difficult conversations, the rude driver or cashier. But then I realized: No one can take what they didn't give. If I'm losing my peace, it's because I'm handing it over. Have you ever thought about this: People can be as mean, rude, or ungrateful as they choose to be, but their behavior is a reflection of their heart, not yours.
