A pioneer in autism studies, Simon has developed influential theories, authored five books, and published over 700 papers. As Director of the Autism Research Centre, he has driven advances in understanding autism, typical sex differences, and synaesthesia. Knighted in 2021, he remains a passionate advocate for autism research and human rights.
