Ruben Islas is a true rags to riches story. Ruben was born in LA to immigrant parents from Mexico. He quickly learned that his tolerance for risk and big picture thinking gave him an edge in 'running game' from selling bootleg church wine, to starring in a Hollywood comedy tour, to selling insurance to New York gangsters. Throughout his life, Ruben continued to seek that which nobody wanted to do and did it better than anyone else. Ruben now owns two film companies, a real estate investment firm, and recently released his first film In Other Words on HBOMax.
