Jessica London, a PI from NYC, gets a message about a new case from her boss, Phil Slater, the morning after a one-night stand. When Jessica calls him back, she finds out Phil wants to send her to Maine to investigate a seven year old cold case. When she arrives in Stacyville, she meets the local sheriff, warden, and restaurant owner.
