Welcome to the Astrocast! In our inaugural episode, Roo takes you through what it means to build a "beginners rig" for Astrophotography, and goes into deep detail including specific Mounts, Telescopes, and all the cameras and gadgets needed to build your first rig. 

Roo has been practicing Astrophotography and Astronomy for roughly 4 years now, with an interest in the stars since childhood. Living in Charlotte, NC under Bortle 6 skies, he often travels to the darker observatory in SC for "serious imaging".
