When you hear the word identity, does it stir up a whole load of different things in your head? Has any of us truly found this thing that looks and feels so elusive. I chose this topic as a first from a selfish standpoint, I have been mulling over it for the last few months, and trying to undo many of the things that have held onto me as an identity that shouldn't. As women we wear many hats, and how easy at times to use those hats as our identity and not what the word of God says. How easy is it to tie your identity to a thing or a person, rather than in Christ. This was a vulnerable space to say we do not have it, but God's grace that is always present to carry us in our weak spots is able to carry us in our very broken space. Ruthpearl and I did this two part conversation and I hope something sparks, and resonates with you. We experienced lots of technical hitches, but it is God's work and I pray, hitches or no hitches you will be blessed by it.
