Let’s begin with a simple exercise to connect with your breath. Find a comfortable position, either seated or lying down. Close your eyes if you feel comfortable. Take a deep breath in through your nose for a count of four… 1, 2, 3, 4… Hold it for a count of four… and now exhale slowly through your mouth for a count of six… 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. Let’s repeat this two more times. Feel your body begin to relax with each cycle.
