Meet Alex Carrier Hitchcox, host of the Hired Huskies podcast. Alex is currently serving as an Employer Relationship Manager at the Career & Employment Hub. As a native Mainer who "boomeranged" back, she is thrilled to be stewarding relationships between local employers and the University of Southern Maine. Beyond USM, Alex is a 200hr Registered Yoga Teacher and enjoys spending time outdoors with family and friends. Her passions include social justice, personal development, and leadership education. She is a member of the Junior League of Portland, ME and resides in Windham. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Richmond and her Master of Arts degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs from the University of Connecticut.
