Wylie Football Weekly, the ONLY podcast dedicated to your Wylie Pirates Varsity Football Team, is back for Season 3 to cover the 2024 football season! Normally our first episode of the season would be a team/season preview a bit closer to the actual start of the season, but my research has uncovered some bits of news that are SO exciting that I HAD to record an episode now to share this news! Specifically, we are going to be talking about 3 super Sophomores who will very likely be taking their first varsity snaps this season and these might be the most exciting Sophomores in the history of Wylie Pirate Football. When you hear the episode, you will understand that what I am saying is NOT hyperbole!  Check it out! We'll also discuss some random offseason thoughts I had percolating in my head. We'll have a team/season preview just before the season starts. A reminder of upcoming games: The scrimmage is August 22, at HOME, time TBA, against McKinney Boyd.  The season opens Friday, August 30 (Labor Day Weekend Friday), at HOME, against JJ Pearce, 7pm start time.
