Welcome to Strive Chat! This is my first episode on this so excited ekkk! Now the goal of this podcast is to document my year and my intention of leaning into my intuition.
Bio: My name is Strive Auntie also known as Dolapo Fadare. I graduated university with 15+ awards for academic and career achievements, 75k+ in grants and scholarships, and traveled 15+ countries. I am a Terry Fox Scholar, Fellow at the Cansbridge Fellowship, Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Scholar, the Sadie Tanner Collective inaugural award for undergraduate studies, and a Canada-China Exchange Scholar Program recipient. My past work experience crosses the intersections of technology, business, and community development. I have been public speaking for 7+ years on economic and community development, the importance of representation in economics, tech, and public policy. Nationally She has spoken on media outlets like CBC, CTV, and Global News. For written communications I have published articles for the Global Institute for Food Security, University of Saskatchewan, and more. I am passionate about sharing my experience as an immigrant woman and navigating a career in technology, economics &community development. Through StriveOpp, a social-enterprise, I encourage equality by increasing access to tools such as academic and financial planning, professional development, and connecting people to various networks.
