Medicines are ubiquitous, especially if you recently had a medical procedure. But all these medical procedures would not be possible without basic medicines. The call for these basic medicines to be made available to all patients is the essential medicines movement that began in the late 1970s. Through this podcast, three undergraduate students from UCLA interview experts with different backgrounds to learn about existing rationales around essential medicines. We believe that medicines should be available to all because at the end of the day, they are essentially medicines
