The Haitian-American Community Organization (HACO) is a charitable organization that financially supports an all-girls' school in Haiti called Notre-Dame du Perpétuel Secours. The school provides a strong education and much-needed meals for girls, from kindergarten through 6th grade, who live in one of the poorest and most dangerous neighborhoods in Port-au-Prince. If it were not for this school, many of the girls would be domestic slaves or prostitutes.
