Episode 1: What is AdoptED? And why does it look like the word “adopted”? | Special Guest: Jennifer Lanter
In this episode of ShiftED, we talk with Jennifer Lanter, VP of Communications & Education at the Gladney Center for Adoption, and creator of AdoptED, about the history behind the program called AdoptED. We figured we’d start from the top so we’re all on the same page right from the beginning of our little podcasting adventure. 😉
Jennifer is the expert in this area because she had the idea that eventually turned into AdoptED and what the program is today. You’ll love hearing her recount what it looked like at the very beginning, why this was even an idea worth pursuing, and some of the challenges the program had to overcome to get to the place it is today!
