Hi! Welcome to the first episode of Queer and Trans Latinidad. This is a short-form podcast about racialized sexuality, delving into topics that we're addressing in our seminar class and adapting our course discussions for a larger audience. We hope you'll join us in a series of conversations about the ways queer and trans theory and politics can help us rethink our engagements with contemporary culture, current events, and our understandings of the relationships between race, gender, and sexuality. Our first podcast is an intro to the term Latinx as a queer and trans political intervention, and a reminder of the radical potentials of the X if we prevent it from being co-opted into a multicultural politics of inclusivity.
