Episode 1: Why your team should be using SMART Goals

In today's episode, we talk about why it is important to organize your plans in SMART format. 
SMART is an acronym:
Specific
Measurable
Actionable
Realistic/Reward
Timely
Simply put, when putting a plan together make sure each step is specific, actionable and has a timeline. 
It is also important for you to determine how you will measure progress before taking action. If you don't have a way to measure progress, it will be impossible to quantify how successful the plan has been.
Ideally, meetings with individuals on your team will allow them to collaborate and be problem solvers. Helping people leaders in your organization create SMART plans will help them develop skills as strategic thinkers while ensuring the tactics they create for their departments are aligned with the strategies of the organization.
