"The Spirit of the Lord is on me because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, " ( Isaiah 61:1)

It's my routine to listen to bibleinoneyear.org in the morning. Today's reading was entitled  Anointed by God pulled from Corinthians 21:22 " He anointed us,  set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come." 

Being anointed means to be chosen, but it has other implications as well.  According to got questions.org shepherds would smear oil on the sheep's to keep the lice, and bugs from getting in their ear which could kill the sheep!

What does this mean for us? 

1. ANOINTING KEEPS THE BUGS OUT OF OUR EARS !

The world says one thing, God says another so who do we listen to? God of course! Lies are the little bugs that try to burrow into our heart, and kill us! But when we remember our anointing
