Welcome to the Things That Shape Us podcast. My name is Jonathan Wymer and I'm joined by James Gary to discuss a various range of subjects that are all related to one idea: How those things shape our lives.

In this episode, James and I discuss two things that shaped our lives. First, James talks about one of his favorite movies and the experience of the award-winning sound edit and design. He describes the affects the movie had on him at a time in his life where high school was over and it meant deciding more for himself of what matters. Second, I delve a little deeper into my experiences of moving around the U.S. more times than I could exactly recall. I try to decipher how my perception of the world around me differs from people who are in one place their whole life.
