On February 13, 2009, 14-year-old Amber Dubois went missing on her way to school in Escondido, California. One year later, Chelsea King would go missing while jogging in the nearby neighborhood of Rancho Bernando. Their cases would change the greater San Diego community forever and call for the passing of stricter legislation to protect all of California's children.
