Answering Josh Gordy's question about Google Docs: sometimes it's just fine, especially if you are collaborating with your client using Docs. But for the most part, I stick to Microsoft Office for maximum compatibility. (Formatting in PowerPoint and Word especially.)
I have switched BACK to Mac from Windows...and won't be switching again! Had trouble with ipDTL and other things. Now back to a NEW Mac Mini and Universal Audio Apollo Twin Duo interface. I can hardly believe it, but there is an audible difference in quality!
The important lesson: you need to be able to count on your gear! That peace of mind is priceless!
