Claire McCarter is a world traveler and military spouse who currently lives in California. After marrying her high-school sweetheart, she quickly discovered that a life full of structure was not in the cards, as they move every two years and constantly face the new and unexpected. As an enneagram 1, Claire is a recovering perfectionist, friendship enthusiast, and huge book nerd, but you can also find her chomping on chips and queso in leggings with every intent of working out - it’s called balance, right? Her background is in higher education, and she treats her classrooms like opportunities to practice stand-up comedy. When she’s not snuggling her dog, Chauncey, she is investing in relationships and trying to practice what she preaches - being an intentional friend, despite circumstances and location.
