Episode 10:
Memorials, monuments, and markers tell us more about those who made them then they do of their subjects.  While recently touring around our home state of New Hampshire, my family and I were attracted to Milford and what Atlas Obscura, the ultimate guide to destination primary sources, describes as the 1838 "Grave With a Grudge" in the Elm Street Cemetery.   But I couldn't help but pay more attention to a memorial marker that was made in 1930, as it was placed directly in front the 1838 tablet, and focus on it as my next primary source breakdown.

(I have come to learn that Carrie Cutter is the alter ego for supervillian Cupid in the Green Arrow comic books.  If you are a fan of that character and arrived here by accident, I hope you still enjoy this podcast.  And who knows, maybe I'll end up doing an analysis on that character one day)
