It was the turn of Silverstone to bring the heat - and boy did it deliver!
With both scorching sunshine and drama spread over the entire racing weekend, Silverstone didn’t disappoint! We got to see the new “sprint” format and watch the chaos unfold on track. The drama only increased as the weekend co ntinued with on track collisions leading to off track drama and controversy.
It was a race for the fans and win number 99 for Lewis Hamilton. With the crowd behind the three home grown talents, the atmosphere was electric and a big leap towards normality.
Despite the excellent racing and good times, the race left a sour taste in the mouths of many with controversial comments from Dr Helmut Marko and Red Bull Racing Team Principal Christian Horner. The Behind Track Limits Team stand with the FiA, Formula 1 in the stance against racism and the horrid behaviour and messages directed towards Lewis Hamilton after his win. We hope to see a move in the right direction towards close racing, equality and inclusion within motorsport.
