When did Mother make a private vow to give God anything he asked?

In April 1942. No one knew of this promise made to God (except her confessor). Underneath this vow, she was living the most intense life of intimacy with Christ. She did not want anyone to know about this vow that the Holy Spirit inspired her to make as the best means available to her in her particular situation of following Christ.
