Conversation with Coach Connor Merrill of Deerfield Academy. Since joining Deerfield in ’22, Coach Merrill has sent 7 players to play college basketball in conferences such as the NESCAC, UAA and Liberty League. Before Deerfield, he spent 4 years as an assistant coach at Middlebury and 2 years as a graduate assistant coach at Springfield College. As a player, Coach Merrill completed a post-graduate year at Vermont Academy and then went on to play four years at Skidmore College where he gained a NABC Division 3 All Star selection, all Liberty League First Team, and all Liberty League Tournament Team.
