Shirley McCay is Ireland’s most capped woman with a record 213 appearances for the Irish women's hockey squad, and counting. She's a defensive stalwart for both country and club; an accomplished athlete who leads by example both on the pitch and off it. We visited the Green Army’s training camp in UCD and caught up with Shirley to talk about everything from big breaks to sporting heartbreaks to snoring team-mates.
