Welcome back to Sips and Scripts!  We're back this week and in this episode we are watching and talking about Kirsten's movie pick:  Jason’s Lyric, the 1994 Black American film, written by Bobby Smith Jr., directed by Doug McHenry, and starring Allen Payne, Jada Pinkett, Bokeem Woodbine, Suzanne Douglas, Treach, Eddie Griffin, Lisa Nicole Carson, and Forest Whitaker. Terrell shares his confusion at grown working men still sleeping in twin beds, Kirsten discusses primal sex scenes and Kayla leans into bad special effects.

Our paired movie cocktail is:  Mad Dog Cocktail

We’re drinking from the bottom shelf this week and creating a simple and fizzy alcoholic drink. A glass of ice is topped with rum, vodka and lemon-lime soft drink.

INGREDIENTS:

1 oz. rum

1 oz. vodka

2 oz. Mad Dog 20/20 (any flavor)

Lemon-Lime Soda

DIRECTIONS:

Fill a highball glass with large ice cubes. Add rum, vodka, & Mad Dog 20/20. Fill to the top with Lemon-Lime Soda. Garnish with a citrus wheel, if desired.
