There’s a new subscription “savings” app on your horizon it’s called “Rocket Money” and there are others. 
It’s free to download but bears these dreaded words… “in-app purchases…”  translation subscription is required.
There are others of course, but what makes these Apps work is setting up a budget and loading all your accounts. The App won’t work unless you do!
Those subscriptions are not “lost” they are alive and well and have taken up residence in your online “wallet”. Where they may be out of mind and sight.
It’s just one more reason to never engage a third-party payer! It’s too difficult to open a dispute… 
Every user should be aware there are some Apps that may not be canceled —- Apple Music & Apple News, once these two are engaged there’s no going back.
