What comes to mind when you hear the word needy? Clingy. Dramatic. Insecure. Draining. Most of us recoil at the very idea. We are fluent in "I'm good," "I got it," and "I can handle it." We will carry every grocery bag, squish the bread, lose circulation in our fingers before we ask for help. And yet, somewhere underneath all of that self-sufficiency is a soul that is desperate, panting, and running on empty.
