From 1981 until 2003, Gary George served as Wisconsin’s State Senator known for being a maverick. But, when he failed to toe the party line one too many times, he became embroiled in a recall election and later sank further into the muck of corruption.
In 1983, Willie J. Junior made history as the first black commissioner of the Escambia County Commission. When charges of bribery, racketeering, and other crimes come to light, Junior mucks up his legacy. But, it’s his strange disappearance that catapults the Florida town into a decades long mystery.
