Natural Law and the book of Genesis teach that marriage existed from the beginning of time. Jesus Himself tells us that from the very beginning God made man and woman for one another, and that what God has joined together, let no human put asunder.

Many see the Church as enforcing a bunch of distasteful, unwanted rules and oppose the Church and authority. But the Church loves each and every one of us, and the rules are there for our benefit, to help us to love. In fact, Love is, essentially, the ONLY rule.
