THE ALTAR  What is an altar?

The Bible clearly illustrates what is an altar and its purposes. An altar can be seen as a structure upon which offerings are made for spiritual purposes. It is usually a raised platform with a flat surface.  

We see this in many of our churches today

There are over four hundred references to altars in the Bible.  This I did not know until recently

WHY do I want to talk about it today?

And… here is where I want to just share from my own heart…the significance of having an Altar in your life…
