The Buddies discover the source of the mysterious explosive waves and regroup at Pheeno Cowabunga's campsite where they attempt to recruit him to join their quest to save the world or something. Before they can make any headway with Pheeno, Cobra Doug and his Amphibioys attack and disable Pheeno's magic. With Pheeno out of the picture the Buddies find themselves in a tight spot with only one logical way out: surfing.
