The teller for this episode was born and raised in Mississippi but currently resides in Nashville, TN.  He is an activist, mentor, a recording artist, and a minister.  He has 35 years of experience working with children in education and the not for profit sector.  In part 1 of this episode, he tells his story growing up in Mississippi and his experiences in college at Jackson State during the killings in 1970. He also speaks about blacks and education and a lot more.
