It's been six whole months since our last episode. And even though we promised an episode on Night Shift, here we are...

Perhaps it's fate that today is the 30th anniversary of Independence Day, and we will once again be hooting and hollering about how much we love this silly, overblown, 90s-ass summer popcorn movie.

And while the movie doesn't have a true soundtrack album, we can still talk about the music featured in the movie, as well as the way ID4 perfectly embodies the era in which it was made, all the things we love about it, and why it's the perfect summer popcorn movie
