Today's episode is all about investing in your business. If you've followed this podcast for a while, you know I did this last year - I wanted to give you an update because some of the things I invest in have changed.  

As your business grows, it's definitely important to invest in yourself and your business.  But you really have to be careful about what you invest in.  So today I'm going to walk through the three questions that I ask before I invest in anything.

1.  Do I have the time to implement what I'm learning?

2.  What ROI will this bring?

3.  What did the guru invest to get to that point - will you get the same results without that investment?

Have realistic expectations and understand that there is no "magic bullet" in business.  It takes hard work - so keep that in mind when you make investments.

Make investments that will pay off - but give yourself some grace if you screw up and invest in something that doesn't work.  It happens to everyone, myself included.
