A bonkers arc continues! George and Pierce debate the reception to this era of Spawn as Philip Tan and the art team as well as writer David Hine are still finding their footing. That said, there are some wild moments - we get closer to understanding the twins, see how Spawn has grown with his new understanding of his existence and get some really nice characterization between Spaw, Sam and Twitch. Comics should make you want to read the next one and this one certainly does!

This week's first recommendation from George is the incredible math rock duo Angine de Poitrine's KEXP session. As one of the comments on the video says, "Finally, Music 2 has dropped." On the comics side, Pierce recommends the work of Matt Kindt and David Lapham generally but more specifically, their new book Knight City from Dark Horse Comics. It's a meta mystery superhero book that feels like a throwback while still feeling new.
