Martin Popoff has just released a brand new book called "Van Halen: A Visual Biography". This is a hard cover 224-page book with around 400 images including live shots, rare memorabilia, magazine ads, 45 sleeves, promo items, ticket stubs, passes and more. It covers all phases of Van Halen starting in 1974 right through to the band's very last tour in 2015. Martin also covers the David Lee Roth and Sammy Hagar solo years along with a few other surprises along the way.

In this episode Martin discusses the book, Van Halen history, his favorite DLR era album, his favorite Sammy era album, what he thinks of the new Wolfgang Van Halen song "Distance" and if we'll ever get to hear what's inside the 5150 vaults.
